Since Cameron Mackintosh first conceived this new production of “Les Misérables” in 2009 to celebrate the show’s 25th anniversary, it has taken the world by storm.
Not only have critics said the show seems to get better every time, the musical’s staging has new scenery inspired by the paintings of Victor Hugo.
The staging has already been seen around the world following the international tours taking the show from North America to Singapore.
This particular musical has become a global sensation since the musical inspired the massively successful film starring Hugh Jackman, Anne Hathaway and Eddie Redmayne.
Booking for Les Misérables at The Lowry will open to Lowry members at 10am on Monday February 25, with general sale tickets released at 10am on Friday March 1.
