Community Theatre Company, Up ‘Ere Theatre group will be performing their own version of Salford’s Cinderella.
The production will take place in Green Grosvenor Park on Clarence Street in Lower Broughton on Sunday December 16 from 12PM to 3PM.
The admission fee for the event is a £1 – £2 donation which would go towards holding future events similar to this one.
The pantomime is part of the line-up for the Panto on the Park event which also includes performances from dance troupes Salford Aces, Urban Angels and JD Dance.
There will also be a performance from Ascension Church Choir as well as various stalls for games, face painting and food.

The organisers of the event have promised it will take place in a heated marquee which is essential as temperatures are set to drop on Sunday in the area.
Up ‘Ere Community Theatre Group are a new theatre branch from Up ‘Ere Productions.
On their Facebook page, Up ‘Ere Theatre Group wrote that they are “Salford based professionals with skills in all areas of the industry including: acting, media, film, theatre studies, applied theatre.”
The goal for the group is to “bring together members of the different communities to explore theatre, share heritage and stories, and create theatre based on issues affecting local people.”
The event is sponsored by Green Grosvenor Park and by Broughton Flood Group.
