GMP are investigating an attempted murder following a shooting outside Kingston Mill in Salford

Police have arrested a third man in relation to the shooting outside Kingston Mill in Salford.

The man, aged 46, was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm after attending a police station yesterday, 12 December 2018.

He has since been released on bail.

Two men aged 35 and 39 arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and possession of a firearm following raids at five properties in Prestwich, Salford, Crumpsall, Manchester and Kent have also been released on bail.

The victim of the shooting, male in his 20’s, was attending a club night at the venue on Cobden Street on Friday November 23, before he was later shot outside the venue three times.

He was taken to hospital at around 5.30am on Saturday November 24 and has since been discharged.

Investigation launched after shooting in Salford

It is believed that the shooting was an isolated incident and there is no threat to the wider community.
