Salford City host Havant and Waterlooville on Saturday afternoon, as they look to build on Tuesday’s positive result over Harrogate Town.
City won 3-2 in the week, twice coming from behind to pick up a vital three points that keep them one point behind league leaders Leyton Orient.
City manager Graham Alexander said after the game, “It was hard fought, a tough game from start to finish”.
Alexander also said Salford were “delighted to take three points”, after a game that saw them come from behind twice.
When talking about the other teams at the top with Salford Alexander said he remains focused on only his side.
He said “The only result I’m interested in is ours”.

Havant and Waterlooville travel to Salford following a mid week defeat at the hands of Dagenham and Redbridge
Following the game, Havant captain Brian Stock said he knows what his side need to get a result when they travel up north.
He said “Grit, determination and bravery are all qualities that we will need”
This is the second time the sides have met this season, the reverse fixture finishing 1-1 in August, Adam Rooney getting Salford’s goal.
No doubt Salford will want to pick up another vital three points at home after league leaders Leyton Orient drew 0-0 with Aldershot Town, leaving just a one point gap between Salford and Orient.
Salford are also firm favourites for the game, as they sit 17 places above Havant in the conference.
Kick off at Moor Lane is 3 O’Clock on Saturday
