With bonfire night just over two weeks away, these are the best displays for the family in Salford.
Prince’s Park – Irlam
Date: Friday November 2nd.
The park which sits at the heart of Irlam is set to offer a funfair, bonfire and full fireworks display.
Best of all, it is free! The Funfair starts from 6pm, the bonfire will be lit at 7pm followed by the fireworks display at 7:30pm.
No parking available at the venue.
City Airport – Eccles.
Date: Saturday November 3rd.
Much like last year City Airport has promised a impressive firework display, children’s rides, live music, food, drink and much more.
The doors open at 4:30pm with the fun kicking off from 5pm. Gates close half an hour before the firework spectacular at 8pm.
Ticket Prices: Vehicles (maximum 5 seats) – £20 (includes all passengers)
Pedestrian Adult – £6
Pedestrian Child (Aged 3-16) – £3
Under 3’s – Free.
Buile Hill Park – Salford.
Date: Monday November 5th.
The huge bonfire and outstanding fireworks of last year’s event are guaranteed again this year with funfairs, food and drink. As well as a special 10 minute “shimmering” firework display at 5:30pm for children under 7.
The bigger firework display kicks off at 7:30pm with the bonfire being lit just before at 7pm.
There is no parking available at the event however it is free entry!
Fancy going further afield? Manchester’s Heaton Park is set to host one of the biggest firework displays in the region again this year.
On Monday November 5th the free event reopens its doors.
With the fun fair running from 5pm-9:30pm and the Bonfire being lit at 7:30pm followed by fireworks, it is expected that the tens of thousands of people that attended last year is to be repeated again.
