One of the most talked about names on the house music scene, Litek has released his new track with Big Tobz ‘Atlanta’ on Warner Records.
Litek, who’s real name is Vlad Susarenko, released the track as an instrumental back in July but said ‘he always saw a lot of potential in the track particularly after the original did so well.’
He said, “I didn’t really see it as just being an underground released and thankfully Warner had the same sort of vision, so they decided to push it as a sort of pop record.
“I made the track whilst I was still at uni probably about three years ago now, but to be honest with you it was just the label seeing and recognising the potential in the track.” He added.
BBC Radio 1 presenter MistaJam, made Atlanta his ‘Jam Hot of the Week’ on his show said, “I love the fact that with this track, he blends trap and house.”
Atlanta’s official music video which was released on the same day features both Litek and Big Tobz, he said, “We got approached by a few directors to be honest man, but I’ve known KC Locke and clash productions a while and he’s worked with a few people I’ve worked with, and it was just the right time to come together, I’m really happy with how it turned out.”
The 23 year old, who made his Ibiza debut this year, is heavily recognised and supported on the house music scene with having worked with names such as Azealia Banks and Tom Zanetti.
Litek who also goes by the name of Renko when working more on the underground scene has a new EP coming out on Hot Trax with fellow Manchester based DJ collective Mason Collective said, “I enjoy making a lot of music particularly that sort of underground paradise type of house so with working with the Mason boys, it sort of progressed naturally to make a new alias and venture down that avenue.”
Atlanta is out now on all streaming platforms.
