The Energise half-term camp will take place at Salford Red Devils’ AJ Bell stadium and will run over 23 to 25 October.
Children between the ages of year five to year 11 across Irlam, Cadishead and Eccles are invited to take part in the range of sporting activities available; as well as exclusive access to the Salford Red Devils first team gym.
Neil Blackburn, Manager of the Salford Red Devils Foundation said “we’re looking to inspire the local community through sport, health and education.
“we’re looking to give them the opportunity to work with a professional sports club, to do activities that’s going to make them healthier and fitter and making sure we engage with the families to make sure their lifestyle is much healthier than it has been historically.”
The camp will be split into two sessions, 9am to 12pm for children between year five and year seven and 1pm to 3:30pm for children between year eight and year 11.
Some of the sporting activities that will take place at the camp include football, rugby league and wheelchair rugby, cricket and dance.
