FOOTBALL freestyler, John Farnworth, is bringing his latest show to Manchester, at the National Football Museum.
The 31-year-old is one of the world’s most famous and successful freestylers due to his logic and gravity-defying skills. He is the proud owner of eight world records, one of which for juggling a football for the entire London Marathon.
“The show is really a mixture of my best work as a freestyler and a magician,” John said.
“I put all my best tricks and skills into it, but I want to a tell a story about the things I’ve learnt over the past few years as a performer, as an artist and an athlete.”
John’s career has taken a new course in the past few years and he is now a children’s television presenter, but he certainly hasn’t forgotten his freestyle roots.
“I’ve been able to do a lot of things with my career,” John reflected. “It’s moving into a slightly different direction now and I’m very grateful for that, but it all started from kicking a ball.”
Messi & Ronaldo may have a few tricks up their sleeves, but @johnfarnworth is the ultimate football magician. See his spellbinding show this December: ⚽️?♂️

The football freestyler has been amazing crowds since 2004, and in the past few years has found a new way to dumfound his followers….. Magic.
“I’m a magician and a freestyler so I merge my two skillsets together and try and to take people on a journey into football. I just love magic and I love freestyle, so when I get to mix them together I’m pretty much in my element,” he said.
Like a true magician, John wasn’t giving away too many secrets about his upcoming show when asked.
(The routine has) lots of different things from levitations, to impossible things happening with the ball, with my shoes, my shoelaces, things changing colour. That’s all I’m going to say,” he chuckled.
The show takes place today at 6.00-7.30pm and tickets are still available.
