THE ‘Doctor Who’ Christmas episode will get a special early screening in Salford on December 19.
Fans of the show have until December 3rd to apply in a raffle to win a seat at the exclusive screenings, and see the episode before it airs on Christmas Day.
The lucky winners will also get the chance to take photos with Daleks and the TARDIS on the BBC’s red carpet.
The Doctor Who screenings will not include the final scene of the episode – for that fans will have to tune in and watch the episode on December 25th.
Tickets will be allocated via a random draw, with 75% going to local postcodes, and 25% to the rest of the UK, meaning that Manchester locals will have a higher chance at being selected for the Salford screening.
The screenings will take place at the dock10 building in MediaCityUK.
The airings are part of a BBC show tour that starts in Hartlepool and finishes just before Christmas in Bradford.
This year’s Christmas special titled ‘Twice Upon a Time’, will be Peter Capaldi’s last appearance as the Doctor before Jodie Whittaker takes over.
It will also feature an appearance by David Bradley playing the First Doctor, and will see Pearl Mackie return as companion Bill Potts and Mark Gattis guest starring as the Captain.
Fans of Doctor Who will be asked to give up any recording devices to prevent any content from leaking before Christmas day.
