Keeping children entertained during half-term is always a struggle, so LEGOLAND Discovery Centre and the SEA LIFE Centre are putting on two very different attractions to help beat the boredom.
THIS half-term, both LEGOLAND Discovery Centre and SEA LIFE Centre at the Intu Trafford Centre are holding events to keep the little ones occupied.
In celebration of the release of the LEGO Ninjago Movie, LEGOLAND Discovery Centre are running the LEGO Ninjago Movie Days event, in their new Ninjago City Adventure area of the attraction.
This event will enable children to meet characters from the movie and take part in giveaways and competitions, as well as much more.
The new LEGO Ninjago City Adventure attraction helps children to become a Spinjitzu master, with its treadmill climbing wall, Batak Station, and a Ninja Stance Station.
“It’s the perfect place for families with children aged three to 10 to be creative, have fun and to build lasting memories.”
She adds: “At LEGOLAND Discovery Centre, we are all about creating lasting memories for the whole family to enjoy, so we think it’s really important for you to get out and enjoy what we have to offer during October half-term”.
During school break, LEGOLAND Discovery Centre will monitor the number of admissions to ensure that guests have the best possible experience during their visit.
The SEA LIFE Centre also has an event running for the duration of half-term, called The Deep.
CBBC’s programme, The Deep, follows the Nekton family, and has partnered with SEA LIFE Centre to allow children to solve secrets of the ocean, and become a Junior Nekton themselves.
During the event, children can also enjoy the regular thrills of the SEA LIFE Centre, including the Jurassic Ranger experience, coming face to face with over 5,000 creatures, including Cammy and Ernie the Green Sea Turtles, and meeting certain sea creatures in the interactive rockpool.
Miss Blears says: “The animals here feel like part of the family, and I’ve learnt so much just from working here.
“It’s the perfect place for family fun.”
SEA LIFE Centre also has Breed, Rescue, Protect projects, where they run breeding programmes, rescue and release injured and sick animals, and campaign for global protection of marine wildlife. Find out more here.
Both attractions are expecting to be very busy because of their half-term events, and so it is advised that anyone wishing to visit either attraction should book online to save disappointment, and to visit both attractions for one price, use a combi pass.
LEGO Ninjago Movie Days and SEA LIFE’s The Deep are now running, with The Deep event finishing on 29th of October, and the LEGO Ninjago Movie Days finishing on 5th of November.
