SALE Sharks Lock Bryn Evans has revealed his move to the club in 2015 is responsible for his rediscovered love of Rugby Union.
Evans said: “I think my first season here was great. I came from France and was kind of struggling to enjoy my Rugby and when I came here and joined in with the lads here, I kind of found that love for the game again.”
I think it was just the brand of rugby we were playing and some of the performances we put together really made me get back into it.”
Proud of the @SaleSharksRugby boys today.Been a tough stretch but have stuck to it.Thanks to the fans who never wavered #DeepBlue

The New Zealander also spoke about his team’s preparation ahead of their match against Newcastle Falcons on Friday: “We’ve been focusing on ourselves this week, as we have been doing the past couple of weeks and just looking to continue on what we’re doing and keep building momentum.”
Sale are tenth in the Aviva premiership, but a win by over 7 points on Friday would narrow their gap to the Falcons in ninth to 5 points, as it would prevent their opponents earning a bonus point.
