Bake Off to return one last time on BBC for Christmas special.
Rejoice Bake Off fans everywhere, Mary, Paul, Mel and Sue will return to our screens one last time for a Christmas special. Airing on Christmas Day and Boxing day, the tent will see former contestants return to bake once more.
The two part special, will be the final time it is aired on BBC before its move to Channel 4. It will be a final farewell to two duos that have been loved by the nation, as Paul Hollywood is the only on the four moving with the show to Channel 4.
Deck the tent with bakes of holly!

Who to expect
On Christmas Day, you can expect these former bakers to return to the tent: Ali, Cathryn, Norman and Mary-Anne. You may remember Norman as the man who thought pesto was ‘exotic’…
And then if you haven’t had enough Bake Off galore, these bakers will be back to battle it out once more: Chetna, James,Janet and Howard. Lets hope there’s no custard stealing this time…
The Christmas Day showing will air at 4:45pm, perfect timing for festive snacking and then at 7pm on Boxing Day, what better way to relax after the big day?
It’s exciting to see so many wonderful bakers back for one last time on the BBC, if not slightly emotional!
